We are traveling with our 2 and a half boy , im not sure if he is going to be afraid of the characters any tips

    Hi Sheyla,

My son was afraid of the characters for a while, so I totally understand. There are a few things you can do to help ease him in.

If possible, start with the face characters (i.e., the princesses). Since they don't wear a mask and are able to speak, they are less intimidating. It's a good way to introduce your son to the concept of characters.

If he has a favorite, you may also want to start there. My son always loved Piglet, so we made sure to make a reservation at the Crystal Palace very early in the vacation.

If you can, try to see a parade first before greeting the characters so he can see them from afar without having to interact directly.

Goofy and Pluto were always the most intimidating to my son because of their size - so definitely see them only after your son feels comfortable.

I hope that helps! Have a great vacation!
