Hello David! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Recently, my wife and I dined at
Artist Point in Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort with a large group after we completed running in the
Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend.
Understandably, some of our members decided soaking in their Walt Disney World Resort Hotel's hot tub was preferable to a fantastic meal and no-showed the dinner. Fortunately, even though we were short the scheduled number of dinner guest we booked under our
Advanced Dining Reservations, Dining Locations at Walt Disney World Resort do not charge for any Guests that do not show as long as at least 1 Guest appears for the Advanced Dining Reservations.
If no one shows for a party's Advanced Dining Reservations, then a
per-person cancellation fee will probably be charged. This policy may not apply for dinner shows or dining locations that pre-charge for dining such as
Cinderella's Royal Table or
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue.
Be sure to read through the cancellation policy for your specific Dining Location when you are finalizing your reservation.
If you arrive at your Advanced Dining Reservations with 7 out of 8 Guests, you will not be charged a cancellation fee and this should not effect your seating.
Bon Appétit!
