We will be traveling with a group of 10 (3 rooms) on our upcoming cruise. Will we all automatically be seated at the same table for dinner? If one of the couples opts for dinning at Palo a particular night, will we have empty seats at our table?

You will need to have your reservations linked.  If you have booked the 3 staterooms under separate reservations, just follow the simple instructions provided by Disney Cruise Line.  You'll be able to coordinate your group's dining arrangements and enjoy memorable dinners together.

If one or more people from your table opt to go to Palo, then the seats will remain empty at your regular dining table.

I recently dined aboard the Disney Magic. Our table was for 6. On the first night, we were all present in Animator's Palate at Table 70. On the second night, four people went for dinner at Palo, one person went to watch the Super Bowl and I ordered room service.

I really enjoy the flexibility of the dining options aboard the Disney ships. On another evening, four people ate our table and two people went to Palo. The possibilities are endless when you consider that  there is 24 hour room service, quick service options and a nightly buffet at Topsider's/Beach Blanket.

When you board the ship, you will receive a dining room ticket in your stateroom. It will include your name, stateroom number, dining time, table number and dining schedule. Any evening when one or more of your party opts to eat elsewhere, those seats will remain empty.

While your restaurant will change due to the fun rotational dining, your tablemates, servers and table number will remain the same!

By the way, I would highly suggest an evening at Palo. This restaurant serves up Northern Italian cuisine in an elegant atmosphere. The servers are very attentive. Did you know that in Italian, Palo, means pole? Think of a gondola dock pole in Venice!

Enjoy dining with your group at sea!
