I am traveling in a group of 11, with 5 kids ages 6,4,4, 2, 2. Any tips for our trip in October?

Wow!!!  I've traveled with my 5 when they were 6,5,3,1,3 months...it's busy!!  I would recommend bringing a double stroller or two.  Walt Disney World has increased the rental of daily use of double strollers to $31.00 per day or $27.00 per day for a multi-day rentals.  Since you have 4 that potentially may want or need a stroller that could be costly.  October is a great time to visit.  I always try to schedule special time with each child when we are at Disney.  It might be a Princess Breakfast, or a trip to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, or even a few trips on Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger attraction.

I found going to the parks in the morning and head back to resort early afternoon to rest.  What I learned was if I pushed my kids through a park from opening to close, by fireworks time it was disastrous.  We would have meltdown after meltdown.  Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a lot of fun!! It's one of my kids favorite events.  They all dress up as basketball players.  It's great because the uniforms are lightweight and dry fast if they should get wet.

I hope you have a fabulous trip!!! Heather M.
