Hi, I am traveling with a group which will include a 9 year old boy. We have to choose between Epcot or Animal Kingdom, which one would you recommend?

    Hi Cassandra!

That's not an easy decision.  It really depends on the boy.  I can tell you that my oldest son loves Epcot and it is his favorite resort.  He is now 12 years old, but Epcot was also his favorite resort when he was 9.  Thus I would recommend going to Epcot unless he is a real animal lover.  If he really loves animals and loves going to a local zoo, then I would go to Disney's Animal Kingdom instead.  Disney's Animal Kingdom is much more than a zoo with rides and shows as well as live animals; any person who loves exotic animals will really love the park.

If you go to Epcot, expect to spend most of your time in Future World.  Attractions that should appeal to a 9 year old boy include:
    • Test Track
    • Soarin'
    • Ellen's Energy Adventure
    • The Seas with Nemo and Friends
    • Turtle Talk with Crush

I hope this helps!  Write back if you have any more questions!
