We are traveling with grandparents, but they won't be on our meal plan. Can they eat at the same table as us when we eat at a restaurant?

    Welcome to planDisney, Adam!

Oh, we absolutely love a multi-generational trip to Walt Disney World. You are in for such a treat!

Speaking of treats, you also have so many treats in store for you while using your Disney Dining Plan. My husband and I just returned from a long weekend at Walt Disney World, and our Dining Plan made our trip so much more magical. From that Resort-Refillable mug (great souvenir!) to snacks to spend as we ate our way around the World (Showcase) in EPCOT, to having pre-paid for outstanding meals throughout the parks and resorts, that Dining Plan was a game-changer. I'm so excited for you!

As for dining with other guests who are not on a Dining Plan, not to worry. Once you are seated,  your server will ask if anyone is on a Dining Plan. Simply let them know who in your group is using your Dining Plan and who is not. They'll then let those on the Dining Plan know how to order--server suggestions are my favorite--and the grandparents can order whatever they'd like. You can ask for two different checks if you'd like, too, to help keep details separate. Easy peasy!

On our last visit to Yachtsman Steakhouse, only two of us in our party of five were on a Dining Plan. No worries. Our server navigated all of us through their outstanding menu beautifully, and everyone ordered easily.

Adam, as you continue your plans for your multi-generational trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth, be sure to send additional questions our way. We love to help!
