We’re traveling to the Grand Floridian in 2 weeks with a 2 year old who will be sleeping in a Pack N Play. Is there a way to “wall off” the sleeping baby so we don’t have to tip toe around a sleeping baby quote so much in our one bedroom suite?

    Hi, Meg!

You are in for a real treat when you arrive at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa!  I had the opportunity to stay there a couple of months ago, and it was the most breathtakingly beautiful hotel I have ever seen!  There is just something so magical about walking around the resort property and catching a glimpse of Cinderella Castle across the water.

All of the rooms at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa are quite spacious.  If you are staying in a one bedroom suite, I think you will have plenty of room for the whole family to relax in comfort.  If you take a look at the Walt Disney World Resort website under room rates for Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, you can view photos of the category of room you booked.  This might give you a better idea of the layout of your suite.  The rest of your family should be able to be in a separate area of the suite while your 2-year old is sleeping.

I think you will find Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa very convenient when traveling with a little one.  It is just a quick monorail or boat ride from Magic Kingdom Park if you need to return to your resort hotel room for a mid-day nap.

Wishing you a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
