    We are traveling with Friends over the summer and are interested in attending a special ticketed event. We have AP and DVC and they do not. Am I allowed to purchase discounted tickets for all of us? Our reservations are linked as well.

    I'm so glad you stopped by with a planning question for us!  While it probably comes as no surprise that I love visiting Walt Disney World theme parks, there's something extra magical about attending a specially ticketed event, like Disney H2O Glow After Hours at Typhoon Lagoon or Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom Park.  With unique character sightings, event-exclusive treats, and extra opportunities to enjoy all your favorite attractions, these events have all the makings for magic.  How cool that you're planning to experience one of these special events with your friends this summer!

    I've got some news I think you'll be happy to hear, Rosemary.  You're welcome to purchase special event tickets using an eligible Disney Vacation Club Member discount, so you and your friends can all enjoy this event together.  Just be advised that you'll need to show your valid DVC Membership ID at the park entrance to pick up your tickets or passes.  

    If you haven't already done so, now is the perfect time to download your new Disney Vacation Club Digital Membership Card.  Physical Membership Cards (those legendary "Blue Cards") were retired at the end of 2021, so you'll need your digital card in order to access all your Member Benefits, including picking up your event tickets, during your upcoming visit.  You can do this by downloading a Disney MagicMobile Pass right from the My Disney Experience mobile app, which will be saved to the digital wallet of your smartphone and act as your new card.  With access to all your Member Benefits right at your fingertips, I like to think of it as having your very own Membership magic wand!
