I will be traveling to Florida to visit my parents in February and would like to spend a few days (Feb 10 - 13) in Disney. I will be traveling with my husband, my almost 4 year old, and a 4 month old baby. What moderate resort do you suggest we stay in?

While all of the moderate resorts are great, my personal favorite for families with young children is Port Orleans French Quarter.  It is the smallest of the moderates, so you won't have a far walk to the food court, pool, or bus stop, regardless of which building you are in.  Furthermore, as a small resort, we found that the buses were not as crowded as some of the other resorts.  While the buses are sometimes shared with Port Orleans Riverside, since French Quarter is the first stop you will be more likely to get a seat.

Food at the food court, like all the resorts, is kid-friendly, and the beignets, which are only available here, are a must try (for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!).  While the Port Orleans French Quarter does not have a table service restaurant, Boatrights at Riverside is a short walk and has delicious food (especially for breakfast).

The pool is great for young children - my daughter, who was 2 at the time, loved it and wanted to go to the pool daily.  She also loved watching the boats go by on the Sassagoula River.  You can actually take a boat from the resort to Downtown Disney, which is another big hit with young ones!

    Good luck deciding!
