Welcome to planDisney, Scott!
I am happy to hear that you plan to stop by
The Most Magical Place on Earth while visiting Florida! Thank you for sending your first question our way, I know that you will find great tips here at planDisney to make your Disney adventure an unforgettable one!
As Guests safely return to the magic and guidance continues to evolve with the support of health and government officials, I always recommend that visitors check
operational guidelines and updates before their visit. Enhanced cleaning procedures have been implemented throughout the Walt Disney World Resort, adjustments are still in place to promote physical distancing and certain experiences may be modified to reduce contact. We highly recommend that Guests use cashless and contactless payment options such as credit and debit cards,
Disney Gift Cards, and digital wallets. You are also welcome to use cash to purchase a Disney Gift Card upon arrival by stopping by
Guest Relations or select merchandise locations.
Here are the top things you need to know as you prepare for your visit:
Face coverings are required for all Guests ages 2 and older in all indoor locations, except when actively eating or drinking while stationary and physical distancing. They are optional in outdoor common areas, but you must wear them upon entering and throughout all attractions, indoor theaters, and transportation.
All Guests ages 3 and older must have a
theme park reservation in addition to valid theme park tickets for each day of their visit. Reservations can be made via the
Disney Park Pass system, but remember to link valid tickets to your Disney account and check
Theme Park Reservation Availability before making reservations.
Be sure to download the latest version of the
My Disney Experience app to your mobile device to use Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering for dining, to scan codes at select restaurants and view the digital menu, use
Online Check-In while staying at a Disney Resort hotel, and to create a
Disney MagicMobile pass (with valid admission) and use your mobile device to redeem tickets and enter the theme parks.
I hope this information is helpful, Scott! Come back to visit us if you have additional questions and check our
Panel Extras for more magical advice!
Best Disney wishes,
Thiana
