Traveling in 6/09.Our flight should arrive at 9:36 am on 6/20/09. Check in time at resort is 3pm. What can we do in the mean time? Anywhere a 5yr old can catch a nap?

Hi Natalie!  Although the official check-in time for resorts is 3:00 p.m. you can go to the resort as soon as you arrive and do the check in process with them.  If your room is ready early you can often get the key and settle in.  If your room is not ready they will let you know if they think you can get in before 3:00 or not.  Once you have checked in you can leave your luggage at the resort and enjoy the resort amenities whether or not the room is available.  You did not mention the resort you will be staying at but all resorts have pools so it might be an idea to pack your bathing suits in your carry on luggage so you can swim and sun.  You might find a shady spot for your five year old to grab a quick nap as well.

If you have purchased or plan on purchasing length of stay park tickets then you can leave the luggage and head for a park of your choice on the complementary Disney transportation.  Even if you choose not to ride any attractions just walking around might help your five year old take a nap in the stroller and it gives you an idea of the magic awaiting you!
