I am traveling the first week of July 2008. Our party will involve 4 adults and 4 kids(boys 14, 10, 4 and girl turning 6 while there) we will be staying off property but I wanted to know if there is anything besides the birthday button I should know about?

Here are some suggestions for your party:

Tell your hostess and server at every place that you dine about the birthday girl. Magical things will often happen. For instance, Chef Mickey’s brings a complimentary cupcake although personalized cakes can be ordered at an additional fee. It is a fun place for all ages.

Get an autograph book and have the characters sign birthday messages.

The Whispering Canyon Café at the Wilderness Lodge would be lots of fun for everyone in your group. Traveling here could be part of the adventure. From the Magic Kingdom take the boat to the Wilderness Lodge.

Another idea would be the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at Ft. Wilderness or 50’s Prime Time Café at Hollywood Studios for lots of laughs.

If you are touring Epcot, visit the KidCot stations in World Showcase and get Happy Birthday written in all different languages. Ask the Cast Member how to say Happy Birthday in their language. Enjoy!
