Hi there, Robin! Thanks for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with another great question.
Eating at the Disneyland Resort is an adventure in and of itself! There are SO MANY wonderful culinary opportunities to explore in both parks, the Downtown Disney District, and the three Disneyland Resort Hotels. My first suggestion is to enjoy a lunch or dinner at
Blue Bayou Restaurant. This restaurant is located inside the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction so boats will float by while you dine. Also, the food here is absolutely divine!
My next suggestion, since you’ll be traveling with older kids who might have different tastes, is to check out the different quick service options in the Pacific Wharf area of Disney California Adventure Park. Whether you and the kids are craving Mexican at Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill, Chinese at Lucky Fortune Cookery, or a soup and sandwich at the Pacific Wharf Cafe, this one area has you covered. Plus, you can use
Mobile Order on the Disneyland app at these locations to save you a bunch of time. If you’re in Disneyland Park for lunchtime, absolutely stop in to the Jolly Holiday Bakery Café for the their famous grilled cheese and tomato soup.
If you want to spend an evening in the Downtown Disney District, try the pizza at Naples Ristorante e Bar or Ballast Point which will be opening its doors very soon. Then for dessert, try the unusual but tasty ice cream flavors available at the brand new
Salt and Straw.
I could go on and on about food, so if you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to stop by again!
