Hi Dale!
Your WONDERful Disney Cruise Line vacation is just around the corner and I know you are busy getting
everything packed and ready for your adventure at sea! I try (keyword being try) to be ahead of the game when it comes to backing, but undoubtedly, I always end up being a last-minute packer!
My family sailed the Southern Caribbean last January and I will say that it will be a welcome relief from cold weather you may be experiencing in Utah! Expect warm, sunny weather during the days and nights! Also, be aware, we found it to be incredibly humid during our time there last year, and if Texans found it to be humid, it must have been! But I do recommend packing a light sweater for evenings on the ship as the common areas can tend to be kept cool! I always ensure that myself and my children have a sweater to have on hand during dinner…and even though I remind my husband each time to pack the same, he never does! I think it’s his secret way of buying a new pullover from the onboard shops!
Depending on how you plan on spending your days, you will likely find yourself in swimsuits or shorts during the day and dress for dinner each night. On your seven-night sailing, you will have four cruise casual nights, one formal night, one semi-formal night and one Pirate Night. Feel free to dress in what makes you feel comfortable, but many Guests will dress up for the formal nights and bring pirate garb to dress as swashbuckling pirates for the fun-filled theme night! If you plan on dining at
Palo during your voyage, be sure plan to adhere to their dress code.
So much fun awaits you onboard and I can’t wait for you to experience it all!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
