We are traveling to Fiji and we have a long layover at LAX. I have always wanted to go to Disneyland so we wanted to enjoy the park on our layover. The only problem is that we will need a place to store our luggage while we enjoy the park?

    Hey there, Donna!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for bringing us another great question. While I sit here still facing some very wintry weather, thinking about your trip to Fiji sounds absolutely amazing. Fitting in some time at the Happiest Place on Earth will be the perfect way to top off an already outstanding vacation!

Without staying at a hotel near the Disneyland Resort, there isn't particularly anywhere to store your luggage on property, but I do have some ideas and suggestions. First, I would check with your connecting airline to see if they will let you check your luggage in early before your flight. This would be the most ideal since you won't have to worry about your luggage at all while you are in the parks. Your next best option would be to rent a car for the day to drive to the Disneyland Resort. You could easily park in one of the two parking locations: Mickey & Friends Parking Structure or the Toy Story Parking Area. Although the Disneyland Resort is not responsible for items left in your vehicle, you could still store luggage in the trunk of your rental car at your own risk. You may find that the price of parking and car rental for the day is comparable to round-trip transportation from LAX.

Since time will be of the essence as you make your short visit, I highly recommend adding Disney MaxPass to your ticket after you enter the parks with the Disneyland app. This will allow you to quickly and conveniently make Disney FASTPASS selections right from your mobile device saving you time in attraction lines so you can maximize your experiences.

I hope this helps, and please return if you have any other questions. Have a Fantasmic day!
