We will be traveling with my father-in-law who is a retired veteran. The ID he has was issued by the VA and states "Veteran Administration" with nothing else. Is this a "valid military ID" required for the Disney military discounts? Tha

    Hello Lori!

There are several ID's which will allow veterans to qualify for Disney's Armed Forces Salute discounts.  The most common ID's are: DD Form 2, DD Form 1173, and DD Form 1173-1 (form numbers are written on the ID).   These ID's are typically used for the retiree to have access to military facilities like the commissary and Morale, Welfare, and Recreation services.   ID's issued by the Veteran's Administration for VA health access are not considered valid forms of identification for purposes of this discount.

I hope this helps, Lori!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
