Hiya Fallon - welcome to
planDisney!
Thanks so much for stopping by with your question for our team of panelists. We love to help Guests from near and far plan their very own, very magical, Walt Disney World Resort vacations! I can definitely understand your desire to experience as much magic as possible after making a long journey - let's talk strategy!
First, I recommend purchasing the
Disney Genie+ Service for each Guest in your party on the day you plan to visit Magic Kingdom Park. Pricing varies from day to day but will be shown to you in the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. You can make your purchase any time that day, starting at Midnight, but I recommend that you make your purchase by 7 a.m. that morning.
Genie+ unlocks the ability to make Lightning Lane selections throughout the day. You'd make your first selection starting at 7 a.m. and it will be for a specific attraction and a specific time window. At that time, you'll use the Lightning Lane entrance at the attraction to skip the Standby Queue for a much shorter wait! Once you use one Lightning Lane selection (or 2 hours have passed since park opening or from the time you booked your previous selection, whichever is later), you can make another selection! Most Guests are able to experience two or three attractions through the Lightning Lane per day with Genie+, but you may be able to squeeze in more! You can also purchase
Individual Lightning Lane Access for
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train for a separate fee.
Outside of Lightning Lanes, there are a few other options to maximize your day. You could consider booking a
Private VIP Tour which includes Lightning Lane access to the attractions of your choice throughout the day and a magical Tour Guide! I've also enjoyed
Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour at Magic Kingdom Park which includes access to a couple of attractions along with an insider look behind the scenes!
Lastly, if you are staying at a
Disney Deluxe or Deluxe Villa Resort, you might want to schedule your visit to Magic Kingdom Park on a day with
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours. Available only to Guests of these Resorts, you will have an extra few hours at the end of select dates to make sure you get to experience every attraction on your list!
I hope this information is helpful -
stop by any time with more questions, Fallon!
