Anchors aweigh, Kate! Thank you for returning to planDisney with your questions--we're always happy to help!
I love embarkation day! It's always filled with excitement and anticipation as we wait for our boarding group number to be called. Our first stop is always lunch, followed by exploring the ship. Be sure to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. Once you connect to the ship's Wi-Fi in the terminal, you can access the daily activity schedule, including the hours the youth clubs are open.
Disney's Oceaneer Club and
Oceaneer Lab typically have Open House hours until 3:30 p.m. that first day. Then, they close to prepare for the mandatory lifeboat drill. Once the drill is completed, secured programming begins. The hours can vary, but just to be safe, I recommend seeing if you can move your
Beverage Tasting to another day.
I had a wonderful Thanksgiving on the Disney Dream last year! The dining rooms were filled with festive cheer, and a delicious traditional Thanksgiving meal was served alongside other favorite dishes. What makes sailing during Thanksgiving extra special—besides not having to cook and clean up afterward—is that the night ends with
Mickey and Minnie's Holiday Party!
I hope your cruise is filled with magical moments and merry memories to cherish forever.
SEAS the adventure!
