Ahoy, Amber!
It won’t be long before you arrive at the port and see the beautiful Disney Wish! I’m glad you brought your question to planDisney. I frequently travel with my extended family, and we’ve yet to have the same Port Arrival Time. I do have a few suggestions to help your embarkation go smoothly.
Your Port Arrival Time is when you are supposed to arrive at the terminal for your Disney Cruise Line vacation. One option is to arrive and board with the family members at the latest time. For example, if you’re supposed to arrive at 11:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and noon, you’ll all arrive at noon, complete your check-in, and smile together for the Welcome Aboard photo.
Another option is to board at your individual times and meet up once everyone is on the ship. The early family members can hang out in the atrium, stop by Guest Services, or take a picture with Cinderella and her friends. You could also head up to the pool deck, claim a few lounge chairs, and prepare for a ride on the
AquaMouse. Right around from the pools, you’ll find
Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods and
Marceline Market – two perfect lunch options.
I just returned from the Disney Wish a few days ago. The stage shows are magnificent! They open the doors 30 minutes before showtime, and there’s usually a line of people. I recommend getting there early if you want to all sit together. The
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app will list all the activities and entertainment onboard. Another feature unique to the Disney Wish is Disney Uncharted Adventure. With the magic of a wishing star and spyglass (aka your phone and the cruise app), you’ll set sail into the worlds of your favorite Disney pals. Your journey will take you from bow to stern and beyond the stars. It’s a great way to explore the ship at your own pace.
Amber, in my experience, the boarding process moves quickly. No matter which option you pick, I’m happy your family will be together – sharing unforgettable moments.
Bon Voyage!
