Hey there, hi there, Emily! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney and thanks for stopping by with your question, pal!
Before you know it, you'll be embarking on your magical adventure at The Most Magical Place on Earth. And with a large group?! How fun and exciting! My family and I have traveled to
Walt Disney World Resort with some of our favorite friends as a party of eight a couple of times, and we always have the
best time. I can't wait for you to experience this same pixie-dusted fun, Emily. Of course, no Walt Disney World Resort vacation (or any vacation for that matter) is complete without fabulous dining experiences, so let's get this planning party started!
I think you will be happy to hear that you and the other family traveling with you can absolutely book
Advance Dining Reservations together. When your Advance Dining Reservation window opens 60 days before your arrival, just
check dining availability on the My Disney Experience website or app for eight Guests, choose your must-do meals and complete the steps to book the reservation for eight. Bon appetit!
Quick tip #1: While it is not necessary to book the reservation, to list every Guest on the reservation, everyone must be connected via their
Family & Friends List on My Disney Experience. This makes planning with a large group much easier, and everyone will be able to see their plans on their own account.
Quick tip #2: If you are having a hard time booking a table for eight at your must-do restaurant, try getting two tables of four for the same or similar reservation time. While it is not guaranteed, when you arrive at the restaurant's podium and let a Cast Member know that the two parties are together, they may be able to seat you together or near each other!
I hope this was helpful, Emily, and I hope you have the most magical and memorable vacation, full of family, friends, food and fun! Please stop by any time with any questions you have along the way. You've got a friend in me!
See ya real soon,
Mandy
