    We are traveling with family for my nephews birthday. I accidentally booked my park hopper for Magic Kingdom and everyone else is going to Animal Kingdom first. How do I change/ Update my reservation. I keep getting an error message online?

     Welcome to planDisney, Janice. I'm so happy you stopped by and even happier to see you'll be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in just a few days! You and your family are sure to experience lots of pixie-dusted adventures together.

     While you can't modify your existing Theme Park Reservation, I can help you cancel it and then book a new one for a different date! Start by logging in to your My Disney Experience account online. Hover over the My Disney Experience tab at the top of the homepage and select "My Plans" from the drop-down menu that appears. Scroll down the page that says, "Janice's Plans and Tickets." There you'll see your existing Disney Park Pass. Click on the "View Details" link next to the Disney Park Pass you'd like to reschedule. Then, select "Cancel This Reservation." Once you've confirmed the cancellation, you can book a new Theme Park Reservation via the Disney Park Pass System. If you've followed these steps and gotten an error message, I recommend trying a different internet browser. I've had the best luck with Chrome and Safari when I'm using My Disney Experience to plan my family's next Disney vacation.

     Have you downloaded the My Disney Experience mobile app? You can cancel your existing Theme Park Reservation there too. Start by clicking on the three little horizontal lines in the bottom right corner of the app's home screen. Click on "My Plans" and then scroll down to find your existing Disney Park Pass. Once you find it, click on the Magic Kingdom Park image and then click on the cancel icon. Then, to make a new Theme Park Reservation for Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, just click on the plus sign at the bottom of the screen, select "Make a Park Reservation," and follow the prompts! 

     Be sure to stop by Guest Relations to pick up a complimentary birthday button for your nephew. With a birthday button, your nephew will receive birthday wishes from Cast Members and Guests alike!
