Ahoy there Ryan and welcome aboard planDisney. Large groups on a Disney cruise are the best. There are so many activities, lounges, and experiences that there is something for everyone. I remember playing miniature golf at
Goofy's Sports Deck with my kids then turning around and the rafting above in the pool deck with my niece and nephew on the Disney Dream
AquaDuck. Recently, we joined five other adult couples on the
Disney Wish, opened up the verandah privacy partitions, and created a giant verandah that wrapped the stern. It was an opportunity to have morning coffee and afternoon happy hour in our "private lounge" where we watched the sky meet the sea during sunset.
For safety, opening the privacy partition between
connected staterooms must be done once you arrive at your stateroom and it is an easy request. With a Guest from both staterooms present, ask your stateroom host to open it. They will make it happen... bibbidi bobbidi boo! If only one party is present then the stateroom host will have to wait until they have permission from the other stateroom. By the way, Disney Cruise Line stateroom hosts are always smiling and want to do whatever they can to make your voyage special. They always add magic to our journey.
Ryan, once that partition is removed, you will have a wide view of the open sea and a place to take great pictures. I hope you enjoy the extended verandah as much as we do when we create our private hideaway. Please feel free to port next to
planDisney again for more Disney vacation planning tips.
Enjoy making many Magical Memories on the High Seas.
