Hi. We are traveling with 11 family members. My mom has parkinsons and has trouble standing for long periods of time and cannot stay in the sun due to her medicine> Does the DAS card allow all of our party to board with her when she rides?

Nicole, thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

When you obtain the Disability Access Service (DAS) card at Guest Relations near the entrance of each park, inform the Cast Member that all 11 of you wish to remain together as a family. They can indicate the number of Guests the DAS is valid for. I recommend having the entire party present at Guest Relations when your mother obtains her DAS card. Here's a Fact Sheet regarding DAS card at Disney Parks. If you have further questions during your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, Cast Members at Guest Relations will be happy to assist you.

I hope this information is helpful for you as you continue to plan your upcoming trip. Please visit us on the Panel again if you have more questions, Nicole.

    Have a magical day,

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
