Hi Kyle!
When our family grew to five, and then six, hotel rooms became a bit tight. I wondered how we would mange at our favorite vacation spot, but learned that
Walt Disney World has plenty of options for families of five or more.
Deluxe Villas with two bedrooms and most villas with one bedroom will accommodate your crowd. These villas offer equipped kitchens, washers and dryers, a living area and feel like home. Some of the two bedrooms even have three bathrooms! This is fabulous in the mornings when you want to dash out the door to make it to a park at opening.
For a more budget friendly option, consider Family Suites at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort or
Disney's All-Star Music Resort. With a separate bedroom, two bathrooms, and mini kitchenette, these suites sleep up to six. The All-Star suites contain a queen bed, a double sleeper sofa, a sleeper chair, and a sleeper ottoman. The Art of Animation suites are vibrantly themed to classic Disney movies and provide a queen bed, a double sleeper sofa, and a double pull down table bed.
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Campground can also handle a family of five. A small deck with a grill, a separate bedroom, a kitchen, and at-the-door parking make these little homes in the woods a good choice. You won't believe you are only a couple of miles from the world's busiest theme park.
To book two rooms, I make two different room reservations, link them under
My Disney Experience, and request adjoining rooms.
Wishing you sweet dreams at the most magical place on earth!
Elisabeth
