HI! traveling with my family hubby 2-18 year old girls and 1-6 year old we have hotel, dining plan and tickets covered. Do you think that $150 per day for all of us would be enough to cover tips and incidentals. We are staying 7 nights.

Hi Erik! You certainly have the big three covered for your Disney vacation.  Generally food is the biggest part of any travel for a family and with the dining plan you can certainly breathe easier knowing that you aren't going to have to worry about that each day. Please read about the dining plan you have chosen for your group so you are understanding what kind of meals you can enjoy each day. This will help prevent you from ordering things that might not be covered and then be served a bill at the end of the meal.

What you won't have covered is entertainment and recreation costs. If you plan on renting a boat or taking a horseback ride or enjoying a tour during your vacation you will need to budget for that. But $150 a day for incidentals is certainly doable if you watch your spending on the extras. There is so much surrounding you everywhere you go as far as souvenirs that it will be tempting you each day. I suggest you preorder gift cards or purchase them when you arrive and have the amount from what the children might earn before the trip. You can have them do extra jobs around the house and then match their earnings for souvenir money. There are many ways to come up with a figure for the cards and you can choose the best for your family. Once the children arrive they will know what they have to spend on their own and it makes kids think twice before parting with their hard earned money for a souvenir.

Just be careful of the temptations and you should do fine and still have an amazing trip at Walt Disney World for  your family!
