We are traveling as a family of four, my two daughters are 11 and 13. We have been to Disney World numerous times yet interested in seeing what new shows and rides will be available over the Thanksgiving week and which ones might be unavailable?

    Hi Mark!

No matter how many trips my family takes to Walt Disney World Resort, we always find something new and exciting. If you haven't been during the holidays, you are in store for a wonderful time. The parks and resorts all look stunning in their "holiday best" and there always seems to be a little extra cheer in the air.

It's a little early to know the full event and attraction schedule for November, but I'm happy to share a few experiences which will be new during your visit. First, opening at the end of this month, you'll want to check out Pandora - The World of Avatar at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. There will be two new rides, a new restaurant and a whole new world to explore with your daughters. All of the details and photos I have seen online have been stunning and I can't wait to check it out. Another new experience, also beginning this month, is Happily Ever After at Magic Kingdom Park. I've loved watching Wishes with my kiddos, but the new show promises to be equally, if not even more, amazing! Last, I would keep an eye on the park calendar and the Disney Parks Blog for announcements as your trip grows closer.

Have a wonderful time, Mark, and please let us know if there is anything else we are able to assist you with.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm Lauren, a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family and friends. From graduations to birthdays, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon we’ve loved celebrating at the most Magical Place on Earth. I now have pre-teens who check wait times in the My Disney Experience App just for fun, so I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help you plan a little extra Pixie Dust for your next magical adventure.
