I will be traveling with my family and, for them, this might be their once-in-a-lifetime Disney trip. I am working a tight budget. Several of us, like the kids, are not big eaters. Can we split meals at Be Our Guest or does every party member have to pay?

What a joy to be able to experience that first-time trip, Katherine. There’s nothing quite like seeing loved ones experience the magic of Disney.  It looks like your visit is coming up just around the riverbend; now is the time to perfect your happy dance!

With regard to Be Our Guest Restaurant, because it offers a prix fixe menu, Guests are charged on a per person basis. That means that you will be charged according to the number of people in the dining party.

If you’d like to avoid paying those per person prices, I’d recommend choosing restaurants that offer an a la carte menu. At those locations sharing a meal is permitted. You can check out all the dining options that are currently available in Magic Kingdom HERE.

I’m sending pixie-dusted wishes for an unforgettable vacation, Katherine

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
