    I am traveling with my family in April 2013 and staying at the AoA. How long will it take to drive to each of the parks? How long does it take get to Tusker House for breakfast? How long will it take to park and then get to BBB in MK? We have AM res.

    Disney's Art of Animation is a really cool resort. Like you, my family enjoys having our own car and driving to the parks. 

    To answer your question, I consulted the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World 2013 edition. This book lists approximate door to door drive times from Disney's Art of Animation Resort (and other resorts as well) to the theme parks. I will share with you the average and maximum drive times from Disney's Art of Animation Resort to each of the theme parks according to this book. The average time it should take you to drive to Magic Kingdom Park is 40 minutes with a maximum time of 51 minutes. For Epcot, average drive time is 23 minutes with a maximum of 28. For Disney's Hollywood Studios, average drive time is 20 minutes with a maximum of 24 minutes. For Disney's Animal Kingdom, average drive time is 14 minutes with a maximum time of 16 minutes. You can see that the Magic Kingdom times are significantly longer than the others. This is due not only to the distance to the Magic Kingdom, but also because at the Magic Kingdom you will need to take a secondary mode of transportation, either the monorail or the ferry, from your car to the front of the park.

    Since you are going to reservations at Tusker House Restaurant at Disney's Animal Kingdom and Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Magic Kingdom, you'll want to leave yourself some extra time to get into the parks and to where you are going. I would add an extra 30 minutes to the drive times above to get yourself into each location. To get to your Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique reservation at Magic Kingdom, I would leave Disney's Art of Animation approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes before your appointment. For your Tusker House Restaurant reservation, I would leave about 45 minutes before the reservation.
