Hi Sandra,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!
We travelled with another family during one of our visits to Walt Disney World Resort last year, and we were a total of 8 people (4 adults, 4 kids) when we went to
Meet Mickey Mouse at Town Square Theater at Magic Kingdom Park. As was the case with other Disney Character photo opportunities that we had, we were able to get several pictures separately as a family and a few pictures as a group. It should be the same for your group as well.
What I would recommend that you do at every photo opportunity that you plan to attend as a large group: make sure to tell the Cast Members (both the ones working with the Disney Characters and the
Disney PhotoPass photographers who will be there to capture the moment) which groups want pictures with the characters and how many people will be in each group. That will help them keep everything running smoothly and ensure that you get the best possible pictures for everyone.
Finally, I highly recommend purchasing
Memory Maker for your upcoming visit. Only one person in your group needs to have purchased it in order to be able to download pictures taken by all of the Guests that are linked as part of their “My Family & Friends” on My Disney Experience.
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
