Traveling with our extended family to Disney in October and my husband has a disability. I understand we can get a disability access card for him but how many people can travel with him on the ride? Will we have to separate from the rest of our party?

    Hello, Pat!

Your October visit is just around the corner! I'm sure you are counting the days till your magical vacation begins.

The Disability Assistance Service (DAS) is designed for Guests who are unable to wait in a traditional queue. If assigned, the DAS allows the recipient and up to five Guests to obtain a return time to experience the attraction. Your husband can request this service by visiting any theme park Guest Relations Lobby, where a Cast Member can help him based on his specific situation. Keep in mind that the DAS is electronically linked to theme park media (MagicBands or admission tickets) and all members of your party need to be present so that everyone can be linked properly. The DAS is valid for the length of your visit and at all four theme parks.

I hope this helps to answer your questions. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.

    Have a magical day!
