We will be traveling from Epcot to Contemporary Resort for the Pirate fireworks voyage. How long by cab would it take to get there? 45 min by monorail is not appealing, I'm afraid one of my kids will fall asleep traveling that long, is a cab possible?

Hi Rosalie! I completely understand the thought of children falling asleep during a long transportation trip. Car rides and monorail rides as well seem to be soothing and cause naps to come whether you want them or not.

A cab is going to be much quicker and should only take about 10-15 minutes. If you are in the Future World section of Epcot you can find cabs out front and to the left where the buses queue for the resorts. If you are closer to the World Showcase I suggest you exit via the International Gateway and take the five minute walk to the Beach Club resort and get the taxi from there. I like getting them at the resorts as they are usually already out front and if not the valet staff will call one for you so the wait is a minimum.

Enjoy the Pirates and Pals fireworks cruise. It is tons of fun and full of some nice surprises besides having front row seats to watch the Wishes show from the water!
