Ahoy, John!
Sounds like you'll have an extra-special treat in your Easter basket this year - boarding passes for a voyage on the awesome
Disney Magic! It's still a bit early for Disney Cruise Line to release details about the upcoming Easter cruises, but I'm sure there will be several ways to celebrate the holiday on embarkation day.
This past spring, on Easter Sunday, DCL offered two religious services - a Catholic Mass and an interdenominational service. Little cruisers enjoyed Easter craft activities and face painting, and holiday-themed merchandise was available in the onboard shops.
You'll receive a Personal Navigator, a detailed daily schedule, each day. Your Navigator will tell you times and locations for all the fun activities and events happening on the ship. Your first Navigator will be given to you when you check in at the port - I encourage you to check the schedule for any holiday happenings on your sail-away day. You might find a fun Character Greeting or Easter activity that you don't want to miss!
To stay up-to-date with news and announcements about upcoming cruises, you can follow Disney Cruise Line on
Facebook or
Twitter. Another great source of information is the
DCL page on the Disney Parks Blog. Also, feel free to check back in with us here at the Moms Panel as your sail date gets closer!
Have a magical day! - Diane W.
