    Traveling to DW 1st week of Aug. 2011, what is the weather usually like. Will have 2 senior citizens and 2 children age 5 and 9 mo. Also, do they have strollers avail. to rent for the 9 mo. old?

    Hi Sandra,
    August will be here before you know it!  The temperatures in August can be quite warm - generally between 92ºF and 73ºF.  There are lots of ways to beat the heat if you plan well.  Our family often heads to the parks early and then takes a mid-day break back at our hotel pool to cool off in the afternoon.  Then we will head back to the park in the evenings to see fireworks.  Also, there are a number of attractions in the parks that are inside (or under covered roofs) and these are good to plan during the afternoons.  

    There are stroller rentals at each park;  just check with guest relations when you enter the park.  The price for a one-day stroller rental is currently $13.  for a single stroller and $27 for a double stroller (subject to change).  I actually got the double stroller one year and my 5 year old was glad to ride when she got tired!  It was well worth it.
