Hi! We're traveling to DW in Oct & have reservations at Hollywood & Vine at 11:00am. Is this considered breakfast or lunch? I'm considering changing our reservations since my 4-yr-old daughter doesn't know any of the characters except Jake. Any sug

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Laura!

Fall is a fabulous time to visit Disney World!

My family loves Disney's Hollywood Studios. If you'd like to do a character meal at Hollywood Studios, the Disney Junior Play 'n Dine at Hollywood & Vine is your only choice. Lunch is served from 11:00 a.m. - 2:25 p.m. so you'll be dining from the lunch buffet for your reservation. You still have a few months so you could introduce your daughter to some of the characters between now and then so she'd be familiar with them during your visit.

We also enjoy 50's Prime Time Café. The Cast Members are great, the food is yummy and the desserts are delicious. My boys love the milkshakes there.

The Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant is very unique and offers a drive-in theater setting. Kids love being able to sit in a car while they're eating and watching old sci-fi clips. I've had a couple of friends tell me the stimulation was too much for their younger kids so use your discretion.

Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano is also a good option if your daughter loves pasta. Its very kid friendly.

We also enjoy the Hollywood Brown Derby and love to have a long meal there. That was hard when my boys were younger because they did not want to sit through a longer meal knowing their favorite characters were nearby.

If you need a Quick Service location while you're at the Studios, pop into Toy Story Pizza Planet. While the pizza may not be out of this world, I just love all the Alien's hanging out in there.

Please feel free to visit with all of your planning questions!  We're hEAR to help!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
