We are traveling to DW Nov 10-17 2015 and would like to know if the holiday decorations are up yet and is Mickey's VMCP going on at that time? If so, does the MK close early every night for that event or just certain nights? We are staying at the GF.

    Hi Kristen,

Thanks for directing your question to the Moms Panel. You will be visiting Walt Disney World during one of the most magical times of the year. Experiencing the holiday season within the theme parks and resorts is something that you will never forget. We are so excited for you!

Not only will you be able to admire the beautiful holiday decorations at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort Hotel during your vacation, but you will be able to experience the decorations within Walt Disney World theme parks and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, which begins on November 7th in Magic Kingdom Park. The park does close early during the specific nights of this special event. During your vacation, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party will take place on November 10th, 13th, 14 and 16th. If you would like more information on how to purchase tickets, please visit this webpage: Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Tickets.

I hope this answered your question, Kristen. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask us at any time. We're always here to help.

    Have a fantastical Disney day!
