Hi moms, I will be traveling to DW May 9-16 with DH, DD7, DS3 and my in-laws. At CBR with 7 BMYW with water and dining plan. What days would be best to visit each park. Have ADR for 1900,Chef,CR, CP, CMC,SciFi, any other suggestion/change? Thanks

    Dorothy,

It looks like you have gotten a great head start on your planning.  Your magical vacation will be here before you know it!  The advance dining reservations that you have already snagged include some of my absolute favorites!

I am going to assume that you are going to go to Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Hollywood Studios on the dates that you have those reservations within the parks.  On other days that you haven't already planned anything, I would suggest checking out the extra magic hours schedule. My family usually likes to start and end the trip in Magic Kingdom because they feel like they get to start off with the magic of Cinderella's Castle and then say one last good-bye to their favorite park before we leave. Epcot requires a lot of walking, so we usually put it toward the beginning of our trip. Again, these are simply suggestions based on what my family prefers.

Now, let me tell you about some of my favorite quick service dining spots.  In the Magic Kingdom, I always like to go to Columbia Harbour House.  They have some wonderful selections that aren't your typical quick service burgers and fries.  Min and Bill's Dockside Diner at Hollywood Studios has amazing milkshakes and you might want to try the Yak and Yeti in Animal Kingdom for some Asian fusion cuisine.

While you have chosen some great table service/character dining already, there are some other great places to consider. Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge is a fun spot for adults and children alike.  The cast members make it a truly one-of-a-kind dining experience.  On a recent trip, I ate at La Hacienda de San Angel in Mexico at Epcot.  The food was amazing and the atmosphere and views of World Showcase Lagoon are awesome.

May the memories you create with your family be abundant and last forever.  Feel free to stop by and ask me more questions that may come up!
