Traveling on Dream in July 2012...love the advice about doing laundry, but where are the laundry centers located? I can't imagine walking around a ship with dirty laundry. What are the costs? Are laundry products available for purchase? Should we bring?

    Hi LaDonna!

My family and I just got back from our 7 night cruise on the Disney Magic and having laundry facilities onboard was a big plus!  There are machines on the main stateroom floors.  We did a lot of laundry and you don't have to worry about quarters or anything; you just need your Key to the World card.  The washer was $2 per load and the dryer was $2 per load.  Laundry products, such as soap and bleach, were sold for $1 each per load.  It can add up pretty quickly, so I recommend bringing your own laundry detergent from home!

You will also find irons and ironing boards in the laundry rooms.  The laundry machines can be pretty busy, especially on "at sea" days.  I recommend getting up early as I never had a problem finding a machine in the morning, but my sister always ran into problems in the evening!

Enjoy planning your magical Disney cruise and write back if you have any more questions!
