We are traveling on the Dream at the end of September. How cool and windy does it get on the ship? For instance, should I be packing long sleeve shirts for dinner?

    Hi, Lauri!

Congratulations on your upcoming cruise aboard the Disney Dream this month! I can't wait for you to have your turn to sail -- she is an impressive ship!

Since I practically grew up on some sort of water craft, my dad always told me that the most consistent thing about the weather on the water was its inconsistency.  Therefore, when I pack for a Disney cruise, I always bring a variety of clothes -- just in case.  You have to be prepared when the ship is in a port and its very hot.  Also, you never know when you'll need covering from the wind and rain. Therefore, the short answer to your question is you're going to need short-sleeves and long-sleeves as well as shorts and long pants, too. You'll also want to have a light rain jacket packed for everyone in your traveling party -- and of course, don't forget your swimsuits and sunscreen.

I hope this helps get you prepared, but more importantly, gets you even more excited about your Disney cruise.  Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation.

    Bon voyage,

    Andi
