    Hello, traveling down with family the first week of December and was hoping to do the parade dining package however its blacked out from November 30th to December 8th. Does that mean the parade is not running or are they not offering the dining packages?

    Hi Victoria,

    Welcome to planDisney! I'm so excited to hear that you're interested in a dining package. I'm happy to share some advice to help with your vacation planning.

    The Holidays Begin on November 14 across the Disneyland Resort, which means your vacation will take place during the most wonderful time of the year!

    Looking ahead, the holiday season at Disneyland runs from November 14, 2025, to January 7, 2026. During this time, the 70th anniversary entertainment will be paused to make room for the Christmas Fantasy Parade. It’s magical both during the day and under the twinkling evening lights. If you’ve never seen the parade before, you’re in for a treat! The Plaza Inn is offering a lunch dining package that includes reserved viewing for the second performance of the parade.

    I did a bit of digging and found that the packages will be blacked out on the following dates:
    * The day before Thanksgiving
    * Thanksgiving Day
    * The day after Thanksgiving
    * November 30 through December 8
    * Christmas Eve
    * Christmas Day
    * New Year’s Eve

    So the dining package is blacked out on those dates. I know this news might be a bit of a Winter Wonderland bummer, but don’t worry, I’ve got you covered with the perfect parade spot! I love watching the parade near “it’s a small world.” You can catch the beautiful lighting ceremony, get a great view of the parade, and then stay to enjoy the “Believe… In Holiday Magic” fireworks from the same location! As an extra treat, “it’s a small world” Holiday often has shorter wait times after the fireworks, so you’ll be in the perfect place to hop in line!

    Before you settle in for the parade, be sure to order a box of gingerbread cookies from Harbour Galley. These delicious cookies are super popular, so be sure to use the Disneyland app to mobile order and skip the wait.

    Hot Take: I honestly prefer them over the Mickey-shaped gingerbread cookies!

    I hope this was helpful, Victoria! Feel free to follow up if you have any more planning questions. I'd be happy to help. My fellow planDisney panelists and I are always here to add a little extra magic to your Disney vacation.

    Have a magical holiday!
