I will be traveling to DLR next week. I don't want to have to go back to the Child Care Centers every three hours. Am I allowed to pump anywhere (discreetly) or will I get in trouble?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lydia. Thanks for stopping by with your question for us.

Disneyland Resort is a supportive place for nursing mothers, and I feel that it's completely dependent on your comfort level as to whether you want to discreetly pump at the parks. There are many quiet, secluded places for extra privacy if you need to pump or nurse your baby. A couple of "creative" places to nurse or discreetly pump may even be on Haunted Mansion or Pirates of the Caribbean attractions!

While I understand you may not wish to head into the Baby Care Center every couple of hours to pump, I do suggest utilizing the sink and microwave in the kitchen. That way, you'll be able to clean the parts of your breast pump, and also sanitize them by steaming it in the microwave. If you need ice to store your expressed breast milk, you can also obtain that at the First Aid location.

I hope this information is helpful for you, Lydia. I wish you and your family a magical time at the Happiest Place on Earth. Please visit us on the Panel again if you have further questions.

    Have an enchanted day,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes or Disney Cruise Line voyages with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
