Traveling to DL w/ hubby, 3 y/o and 10 mon old. We are using a 3day park hopper. Any recommendations on rides that we can take both kids on? Also any recommendations on what rides to go on first (want to avoid long lines due to potty breaks, if possible!)

    Hi, Cheryl!

You’re going to have a great trip to the Disneyland Resort. With so many recent additions, including Cars Land at Disney California Adventure Park and Fantasy Faire at Disneyland Park, you’re sure to find so much your little ones will enjoy!

There are many attractions your whole family can ride, like Dumbo the Flying Elephant and ”it’s a small world” in Fantasyland, Pirates of the Caribbean and Jungle Cruise in Adventureland, and Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage in Tomorrowland. If it is labeled as being suitable for "any height” or there is not a minimum height requirement posted at an attraction, then both of your children may ride. One of the most popular Fantasyland attractions is Peter Pan’s Flight, so you may want to head there first thing in the morning to avoid the longer wait times the afternoon can bring.

In Disney California Adventure Park, check out Monsters Inc. Mike & Sully to the Rescue!, The Little Mermaid - Ariel's Undersea Adventure and Mickey’s Fun Wheel, to name a few. The newest attraction of those is The Little Mermaid – Ariel’s Undersea Adventure, so you might want to visit it first before moving on to the others.

There may also be certain attractions your 3-year-old is tall enough to ride with you or your husband. When we visited Cars Land for the first time, my son met the minimum height requirement of 32 inches for Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree, and he was so excited to go on his first “big boy ride!”

Check out the attractions list online, because I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised by just how much both of your kids can experience!  I hope you have a pixie-dusted vacation to the Disneyland Resort, Cheryl. Please feel free to ask me any other questions you may have.

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
