We are traveling to Disneyworld in February for my little sisters magical Disney wedding & Also for the Princess Marathon! My family of 4 are already registered for the 5K, now the grandparents would like to join. Is there a pace requirement

    Hi Jennifer!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I am so excited for this trip for you and your family!  It sounds absolutely magical and perfect.

There is a 16-minute mile pace requirement for each runDisney event. Pacers will begin after the very last runner and travel at a 16-minute mile pace. Runners just need to stay in front of the pacers to be allowed to finish. So technically, the closer to the front of the corral you start, the more time you have because of the "cushion" of time in between your start and the pacer's.

You can find links to register on the Princess Half Marathon registration page.  The 5K is open as of today, but will probably sell out soon!

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
