We will be traveling to Disneyworld in early April and it will be the first trip for our kids ages 6.5 and 4. What are the "must see" attractions for a 6.5 year old boy and 4 year old girl? My daughter is so excited to meet Ariel her favorite p

    Hi Jennifer,

I'm so excited for your children to be visiting Walt Disney World for the first time!  To help with the planning and knowing what are the must-see attractions, www.touringplans.com is an incredibly helpful website.  It offers over 100 itineraries to help guests know what should they see; and more importantly, what order they should visit them to help make the most of their time.  We've used the plans and can vouch for how useful they are. There is a small cost with the website, but one that I think is worthwhile.

With your daughter's love of Ariel, she is sometimes meeting guests at Adventureland at the Magic Kingdom.  When you arrive at the park, make sure to grab a copy of the Times Guide (located with the park maps) which will indicate times/locations of character greetings. You can also stop by Guest Relations who are happy to check on character appearances.

Ariel is also often at lunch/dinner at the Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall.  She also has her own attraction at Disney's Hollywood Studios: Voyage of the Little Mermaid.

Have an absolutely magical trip; please let us know if we can help again.
