I am traveling to Disneyworld in August with a 5 yr old. We have the Dining plan and I have been researching the kids menus. Will my child be held to 1 entree, and 1 dessert or will she be able to order the complete kids meal that I have been seeing?

Many of the restaurants offer "Kids' Complete Meals" or "Kids' Picks", in which the child is permitted to choose from a set offering of appetizers (often times soup, salad, or carrot sticks), together with his or her entree and dessert.  Children using dining plan credits are indeed eligible to order this menu item in its entirety, including the appetizer because it's sort of a package deal; they are not ordering an appetizer independently of their meal.  Does that make sense?  I hope that helps.  Happy dining!
