Hi there Jaimee!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I can't wait for your family to experience the magic of a Disneyland Resort vacation where there is truly something for everyone. There are so many attractions at Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park without a
height requirement that your entire family can ride together. Some of our favorites are Peter Pan's Flight, "it's a small world," Jungle Cruise, and the Disneyland Railroad.
Disneyland's Rider Switch service helps you enjoy some other attractions that your littlest family members may be not be tall enough to experience yet with minimal waiting. We just used this service last month in combination with
Disney MaxPass so I'd love to tell you a little bit more about how it works. Let's say you would like to ride Space Mountain with your family and have made your FASTPASS selections with Disney MaxPass on your mobile device. Your entire party (including your one year old) would walk up to the FASTPASS entrance and let the Cast Member know who will be staying behind to ride next while the first group rides. The Cast Member will scan the tickets of those riding in the second group essentially giving them a FASTPASS that expires one hour from being scanned. You are allowed up to 3 people in that second group per Rider Switch. In your case, the Cast Member would scan you and your older son's ticket for riding in the second group, then your older son and another adult can ride the attraction in the first group while you stay behind. The
Rider Switch page also gives detailed information on how this works. It's really easy after you use it once and get the hang of it!
I hope this helped, and have a magical day!
