Hey there Rachel,
Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for your question! A trip to the Happiest Place on Earth with your two kiddos is going to be so much fun - especially during the
Kids Rule Summer season!
I also have two kiddos and certainly understand wanting to avoid totting around car seats. I'd imagine you might also have a stroller as well along with all your luggage. That's a lot!
Getting from LAX to the Disneyland Hotel is pretty straightforward, and you have a few solid
transportation options. The most popular choice for families is a rideshare service, or a car service or shuttle. The drive from LAX to the Disneyland Resort is typically around 30-45 minutes depending on traffic, though Southern California traffic can always add some time to that estimate, so I'd factor in a little extra buffer when you're planning your arrival day.
If you're looking to avoid bringing your car seats, then I'd recommend looking into your rideshare service of choice as some of them do offer the ability to reserve rides specifically with car seats. If you don't plan on driving around much after you arrive to the Disneyland Resort then this might be the most convenient option, and what my family and I typically do.
Lastly, as you continue to plan your visit, make sure to check out this recent
Disney Parks Blog article that covers all the fun news things happening around the resort this summer. I'm really looking forward to the new family adventure books and the new stage show called "
Bluey's Best Day Ever!"
Thanks again for your question, Rachel! I hope you have a wonderful time on your visit this summer.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
