Hi there, Julie!
I’m so excited you will be visiting the Disneyland Resort soon. I hope to help you feel comfortable with your preparations so you can have a most magical time.
You are clear to take your necessary portable medical monitors, medicines, other medical equipment, and even snacks and drinks with you to the Disneyland Resort. No special documentation is required. It may still be a good idea to take along anything your medical professional may recommend for your care in unexpected urgent situations, likely including your medical alert bracelet. It’s also a good idea to check the
Disneyland Resort property rules and the
permitted items list for any other items you may be concerned about.
Tony’s Tip: If you happen to need to store medications in a cool place, each park has a
First Aid center that can provide refrigeration. Of course, they also have nurses available that may be able to help with various minor medical needs. The center in Disneyland Park is located at the end of
Main Street, U.S.A. near the Little Red Wagon corn dog stand. The center in Disney California Adventure Park is located near the beginning of
Buena Vista Street by the Chamber of Commerce.
Tony’s Tip Times Two: Other
Guest Services that may be useful include sharps containers in most
restrooms,
drinking fountains and water bottle refill stations and
quick service restaurants with complimentary water to stay hydrated, and most dining locations can make available nutritional information to help make informed decisions for special dietary considerations.
Thanks for trusting us here at planDisney as you prepare for your visit to the Disneyland Resort, Julie. I hope you’ll visit us again with any more questions you may have.
