Kari from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

We are traveling to Disneyland May 21st -25th and staying at the Paradise Pier. To my understanding the pool & food services are not currently available at the hotel. I was wondering when food services & pool may open back up at the hotel?

Heigh-ho, heigh-ho, it’s off to planDisney you go, Kari!

It’s almost vacation time, and I’m so excited for you! I can’t wait for you to experience the beachy California vibes of Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel next month.

I checked with a Cast Member, and was told that the pools are currently closed for maintenance through May 7, 2022, so it sounds like they should be open again by the time you arrive! As for the dining options at the Paradise Pier Hotel, we don’t know when Surfside Lounge and The Sand Bar will reopen, since they are still currently closed as part of the phased reopening of the Hotel. However, the Self-Service Market is available near the lobby with plenty of food and beverage options. From hot coffee to a variety of snacking and quick meal options, it’s a great grab-and-go spot.

If the dining options at the Paradise Pier Hotel don’t reopen by the time you arrive, you still have some great nearby dining options, including Tangaroa Terrace Tropical Bar & Grill, Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar, Goofy’s Kitchen, and The Coffee House at the Disneyland Hotel. At Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, you can choose from Napa Rose, Storytellers Cafe, Hearthstone Lounge, and GCH Craftsman Grill. All of these options are just a short walk from the Paradise Pier Hotel.

In addition, as a Guest of Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel, you can use the mobile ordering feature on the Disneyland app to order and pay for meals and snacks at select locations, or even place an order for delivery to your hotel lobby from select restaurants in the Downtown Disney District. Currently, those restaurants include Naples Ristorante e Bar, Tortilla Jo’s, and Uva Bar & Cafe.

I hope this information helps, Kari! Please stop by with any additional questions you may have… we’re all EARs!

Wishing you pixie-dusted adventures at the Happiest Place on Earth!
