Hi, April!
I’m glad to hear you’re planning a visit to The Happiest Place on Earth with your grandchildren! My family and I just love spending time at the pools of all three Disneyland Resort Hotels. Each one is uniquely themed and provides hours of fun in the Southern California sun for Guests of all ages.
At Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, Guests can enjoy the Redwood Pool and Waterslide. There are three separate pools on this property, and my son especially enjoys the small, toddler-friendly waterslide.
At the Disneyland Hotel, the Monorail Pool features two waterslides themed after the classic Disneyland Park attraction, a third smaller “kiddie” waterslide and an extensive water play area that's great for younger Guests who may not be confident swimmers yet.
Guests of Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel can enjoy the scenic rooftop pool and California Streamin' Waterslide, which is reminiscent of a classic boardwalk rollercoaster. This hotel has the smallest amount of pool space of all three properties, which some parents and grandparents may appreciate because it’s easier to keep an eye on their children in a more confined space.
There are life jackets available at all three resort hotel pools, and they may be used on the waterslides. Trained life guards are also on duty daily.
I hope this helps, April. Please visit us again with more questions as your pixie-dusted planning continues!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
