Traveling to Disneyland this july/aug. What good neighbor hotel s you recommend? Traveling with an 11 and 14 year old.

Visiting the Happiest place on Earth this summer sounds so awesome. Cars Land will be open at Disney California Adventure Park which is going to be simply amazing. In Disneyland, the Matterhorn Bobsleds will have just completed it's makeover and with the new bobsleds this classic ride will be brand new again. As for accommodations the best places to stay are on site. Whether it be the perfection that is the Disney Grand Californian Hotel and Spa or my new favorite, the newly totally redone Disneyland Hotel, my family is all about being close to the parks. Everything about this classic Disneyland Hotel has been revamped from the top down and is the neatest spot to stay. Every part of the hotel has been modernized, but with that classic Disney touch. The amazing new Monorail waterslides at the pool and the modernized rooms which feature enhancements including special Disney touches like Sleeping Beauty Castle light-up headboards really reveal how extensive and masterful the improvements were. Besides the hotels themselves I chose to stay on site to take advantage of Downtown Disney which is literally right outside your room. My kids love staying on site and taking advantage of the Magic Mornings where we feel like we have the parks to ourselves. Disney does have a 2012 Good Neighbor Hotels package that includes shuttle service and other amenities to make this vacation the most magical.
